The evolution of Robina is set to continue in 2024 with Immerse Projects revealing the first images of its eight-storey mixed-use development, Ombré, ahead of the project’s launch in March.

The elevated development, located at 46 Scottsdale Drive, will deliver a collection of 95 one, two and three-bedroom apartments alongside private resident amenities and integrated retail and commercial spaces.

Immerse Projects founder and Managing Director, John Kearney, said Ombré was the latest offering in Robina as the suburb evolved into a thriving urban lifestyle hub.

“The Gold Coast market is one of the strongest in the country and the demand for new housing continues to outpace supply,” Mr Kearney said.

“This is especially the case in the local lifestyle market, which has been overlooked in recent years in the race to deliver ultra-luxury projects that are simply out of most people’s reach.

“Ombré goes against this trend by designing from the inside out, embodying a ‘homely’ approach to modern architecture that delivers spacious floor plans, and skyline and hinterland views.

“This supply is essential in a suburb under pressure with a vacancy rate of just 0.5 per cent.”

While pricing has not yet been released, a portion of apartments at Ombré have been priced below $750,000 – well suited to first home buyers.

Mr Kearney said development opportunities were becoming increasingly rare in Robina as the suburb’s rapid transformation approached a new phase of maturity with an Olympic Village to be built and the Robina Parklands Greenheart underway.

“Ombré’s distinctive design brings Brisbane City-style sophistication to an urban landmark specifically designed with the central Gold Coast market in mind,” he said.

“It will become a signature landmark in the area, building on the history of Robina and connecting residents, visitors, and neighbourhoods with considerable and convenient amenities. There is no project like it, and no similar apartments available on the Gold Coast.”

Mr Kearney said leading contract builder Greyburn, of which he is also Managing Director, had been appointed to deliver the project after the team recently completed Robina Grand, a nine-storey building with 73 units.

“Greyburn Constructions is the exclusive contract builder for Immerse Projects and this association brings local experience, a trusted 30-year history, and capacity to deliver,” he said. “It’s advantageous for both companies, and our purchasers, creating alignment between the development and construction outcomes and driving confidence in completion.”

Construction of Ombré is expected to begin in May. The onsite Sales Display is now open and early registrations of interest are being accepted ahead of the formal project launch later this month.

Located close to major retail, education and employment centres and well connected to the Gold Coast’s beaches, Mr Kearney said Ombré would give its residents endless opportunities to live life in their own way.

Designed by BDA Architecture, Ombré features a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Private resident amenities include a residents’ lounge, function room, games room, spacious pool and landscaped outdoor spaces. For more information visit ombrerobina.com.au/
